Walk along one continuous shore. Look for feeding rings, submerged cover and changes in depth. A visible clue helps, but it never guarantees a fish.

Move: use four shoreline direction buttons (hold for continuous movement), or choose a shoreline. Look: drag the lake view. Fishing switches to a first-person rod-and-water view. Cast: tap once to cast at a comfortable standard strength — no long press. Reel: trace clockwise circles on the round reel ring. Faster turns reel faster; lifting your finger stops. Work the lure: while fishing, drag on the lake to lift, drop or sweep the actual rod tip. You can reel and work the rod with separate fingers. A slack line transmits little movement. Fish can pull line back out against your drag; ease pressure when it strains.

If a fish takes the lure, set the hook, manage the drag and line tension, and reach for the net only after tiring the fish near shore. Some casts catch nothing. If the line snaps, choose Retie line to attach a new line before casting.
